Forrest Goodluck is a member of the Dine, Mandan, Hidatsa and Tsimshian tribes, recognized for his award winning films as a youth director. He began directing stage at age ten and by age 14 he became an award-winning film director. His films have premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival, Taos Shortz Film Festival, LA Skins Festival, and have been awarded the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian and SWAIA Santa Fe Indian Market Class X Youth Winner. Born on August 06, 1998 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the son of Laurie (Atkinson, Practice Manager, Masters in Counseling) and Kevin Goodluck (Internal Medicine Physician) who run their private practice in Albuquerque. Goodluck has an older brother, Kalen, who is a Human Rights student at Bard College in New York. Goodluck was educated at The Bosque School where he participated in drama at school and through the Sol Acting Academy. He also participated in many local and national youth acting and film making workshops. Most notable was Superfly with Tracy Rector and acting coaches Angela Gibbs and Judith Weston in Los Angeles. With the support of a Casting Agent in Los Angeles, named Rene Haynes, his film-acting career began. Prior to film-acting Forrest has experienced numerous stage roles in Community and School Theater beginning at age ten.
